Privacy Policy

This page explains what data visitors to Clash Library (clashlibrary.com, "this site") may encounter while browsing, what it's used for, and how it's retained. Sections are numbered to match the format used across the rest of the site.

PV-01Data Collection Scope

This site is fully static. Every page is pre-rendered HTML — there's no account system, no sign-up, no login, no comments, and no email subscriptions. Nothing on this site asks for your name, email address, or phone number. You can read any page or click any download link without submitting any personal information.

Our server generates standard access logs when handling requests (request path, timestamp, status code, etc.). These are used solely for troubleshooting and mitigating abusive traffic, never to identify individuals, and they're rotated and purged on a regular maintenance schedule.

PV-02Analytics

This site runs a self-hosted analytics tool to track page views, rough visitor geography, device and browser types, and clicks on platform tabs across the download page. This data is aggregated and used for exactly two purposes: figuring out which pages need better coverage, and confirming pages work correctly across devices.

Analytics data is hosted entirely by us — it's never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. If your browser has "Do Not Track" enabled or you're running a content blocker, the analytics script simply won't load, and every page feature still works fine.

PV-03Cookies and Local Storage

This site's own pages don't set any identity-tracking cookies. Our analytics tool may set a small technical cookie or use browser local storage to avoid double-counting repeat visits from the same device. None of this includes anything that directly identifies you, like a name or email address.

Clearing your browser's cookies and site data won't affect your ability to read pages or download files here. If you'd rather avoid analytics storage entirely, you can disable cookies for this site in your browser or browse in private/incognito mode.

PV-04Third-Party Links and Downloads

The client installers listed on our download page come from the official release channels of each open-source project — some links point to app stores or project websites outside this site. Once you click through, the privacy practices of that destination are entirely up to its own operator and aren't covered by this policy. After a redirect, double-check your browser's address bar to confirm you've landed on the project's official domain before downloading or proceeding further.

We make no guarantees about how third-party software behaves or handles data at runtime. For details on how a given client manages network traffic or local configuration, refer to that project's own documentation.

PV-05How This Policy Gets Updated

Any changes to this policy will be reflected directly on this page, along with an updated "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes — like adding a new type of data collection — will be called out prominently on this page. We don't send email or pop-up notifications for policy changes, so it's worth checking back on the date shown here.
